March Yoga Experience: Day 13


Lanie’s class was amazing. It’s my new Saturday yoga class–from noon to 1 p.m. I get up early on Saturday, do a few things around the house, and then head to her class. She is truly an angel, and she really makes you think with the questions she asks. One of my favorite things she says it to be fearless on your mat, if nowhere else.

Morning Chat
How does my stomach feel – settled, upset, gaseous, calm? Consider and note what I ate in the past 24 hours.
No stomach issues this morning–what I am noticing is that I am not feeling any upsetness but rather a calmness.

How does my body feel, in particular my head (clear, heavy, agitated)? What is my energy level like?
I don’t feel tired without a reason (like I was up until 2 a.m.) anymore. I think not eating meat has helped because my body doesn’t spend energy digesting as much anymore.

What was my energy level like today?
My energy was consistent all day, though I ate too much at dinner and went into a bit of a food coma!

Did I eat anything that produced unfavorable results or favorable ones?
The chezuan sauce made my stomach upset–lots of gurgling. I think simpler foods with not a lot of spices is best for me.

Overall – how do I FEEL?
Alive! Clear! Healthy! Happy!
