March Yoga Experience: Day 10


Day two of the fruit fast, and I am loving it. I like not having to think about what I am going to make for breakfast, lunch and dinner: The answer is simply fruit. I have enjoyed big bowls of strawberries, blueberries, green grapes and bananas; crisp apples and pears; sweet melon. I didn’t juice or do smoothies this time, just ate the whole fruit. That said, I am looking forward to my delicious veggies and grains and tofu tomorrow for sure!

Morning Chat
How does my stomach feel – settled, upset, gaseous, calm? Consider and note what I ate in the past 24 hours.
My stomach feels calm and light.

How does my body feel, in particular my head (clear, heavy, agitated)? What is my energy level like?
I woke up this morning and yelled, “GOOD MORNING, LAKEWOOD!” I was full of energy and ready to start the day. Tons of energy and vibrating on a lighter level.

What was my energy level like today?
Lots of energy all day long, but met some resistance when I took Kimberley’s class. I wanted the rest of my body to feel as good as I did, but the aches and pains were still there. Thank God for the breath, or I wouldn’t have made it through pigeon pose with an extra twist at the end!

Did I eat anything that produced unfavorable results or favorable ones?
All the fruit I ate agreed with me, and I am really loving how sweet the grapes and bananas are. Yum!

Overall – how do I FEEL?
Half way through, and I feel fantastic. I am lighter, and shining brighter.
